A Note From the Owner:



Sharon started abstracting in 1995 and quickly discovered this was the right career path to take. The challenge of tracking a chain of title or drawing out legal descriptions was, and continues to be a challenge accepted with flourish. When the abstract company Sharon worked for was bought out by its competitor, Sharon took the next challenging step, building her own state-of-the-art land database which meant tracking all real estate transactions since 1967 and thus opening Grant Wood Area Abstract in 2007.
